Practically one week away, FileMaker Devcon makes us all excited, exhibitors and developers alike. We at ZeroBlue are trying to bring some extra fun to Devcon.

Here are some of the things you can expect if you visit Booth 28 from August 3-5:

• Get your hands on a variety of Bluetooth scanners, test them out in real life;
• Get a QR code label for your lanyard so you won’t have to exchange business cards;
• Participate in the Trivia game and have the opportunity to win prizes*;
• A chance to win a Scanfob 2002 Bluetooth Barcode Scanner**.

First Prize

A Workgroup licence from 360 Works. The winner can choose from the following plug-ins:

• Email
• AdminAnywhere
• Plastic

• Web Assistant
• RemoteScripter

Second Prize

A one-year membership to www.fmpug.com. Winner will be entered for a second drawing through fmpug.com to win a ticket to Devcon 2012. Winner of that drawing be notified via email and shown on the FM Pug home page.

Third Prize

A license to Balsamiq Mockups (which runs on Adobe AIR on either Windows or Mac, and is one of my favorite applications).

* Trivia prizes are for the top three scorers at the end of the day on August 5th. Everyone can play! To win prizes participant will be required to generate and wear a QR code label (that’s what we use to keep score).

** A winner of a Scanfob 2002 scanner will be randomly selected at the end of August 5 at Booth 28 from amongst all who printed a QR code label for their lanyard and consented to be on our mailing list. Follow @zerobluetech on Twitter to be notified about when the drawing will be taking place. Winner will be posted on the ZeroBlue website and notified by email.

Rules:

1. Anyone can scan a code. Anyone can answer the question. The correct answer will get a point. In the event of a draw, all parties get a point.
2. If you score, you have the option of having your score count towards the possibility of winning one of the three prizes at the end of Devcon. The top three scores win a prize each. If you decide to have your points count, you will be required to wear a QR code label (generate it at Booth 28 and wear it throughout Devcon; we’ll use that to keep score).
3. You can argue the trivia. If you prove our answer wrong, you’ll get a point, but we’ll need proof.
