Background

Client is a private gaming corporation that owns and operates over 50 casinos, hotels, and seven golf courses under several brands.

Problem

Client received job requests by fax from sister companies that the employees then manually entered into a FileMaker database that was built in FileMaker 6. Manual entry of data can be erroneous and can cause delays.

Solution

Client needed a centralized place for entering job requests from the intranet.  ZeroBlue created a web-to-FileMaker solution by using PHP. The records from the website are created directly in the FileMaker database, therefore eliminating the possibility for error, duplication and the need for syncing. The new solution spots features such as:

1. Centralized data entry of projects through a web portal
2. The upload of files to project child records
3. Automated notification and confirmation emails
4. A dashboard to get detailed project status
5. Time tracking for tasks
6. Web and database acces control by management on site
