We built databases for our own use, but in time we decided it takes too much time away from customers to maintain our own system, so we now use tools that other development houses built and work well. They represent our style: simple but smart.

  • OmniGraffle

    This is where we start. We create diagrams that will help us both understand what needs to be developed. We then send you PDFs of said diagrams.

  • iChat

    You can talk to us over IM. You can share your screen and we can perform controlled troubleshooting, as well. (Mac only.)

  • FOCUS Framework

    The FOCUS framework is the basis of our development. It allows us to set up tables and layouts very quickly and it is bundled with a large number of useful features and even custom functions. Using FOCUS lets us concentrate our efforts on what matters most: your workflow. (Special thanks for Vince Menanno and Will Baker at Beezwax for development.)

  • Basecamp

    Basecamp represents the basic core of project management. We create an entry for every project we work on, add tasks notes, timelines and we give our clients access. You can then follow which tasks have been completed and what’s left to do. It’s as simple as that. (There’s also an iPhone app: Encamp, so you can check status while on the move.)

  • Freshbooks

    Freshbooks is the heart of the way we invoice. We will invoice you on a regular basis, and every invoice contains an itemized list of tasks it represents. You can view your invoice online, print it and even pay it with PayPal.

  • Skype

    You can chat with us or call us on Skype. Calling via Skype is absolutely free, if you are calling another Skype account. The Contact page has our Skype info. You can share your screen with us, but we can only view your screen, cannot control it. (Cross-platform.)

  • Typinator

    Typinator lets you insert function names together with their parameters ultra-fast by typing a short abbreviation instead of tediously searching for them via popup-menu and long lists or typing them manually. This saves on development time.

  • GoToMeeting

    If you need more than 2 people to be on a call or need to a screen with multiple people, we can set up a screen share session so we can share documents, applications or the whole screen for demos, tutorials and walk-throughs.
